Del Paso Country Club ~ Serving Great Traditions . . . Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Del Paso Country Club was founded in Sacramento, California in 1916 on what was once part of the historic Rancho Del Paso. Through the years, the Club has grown to include a championship 18-hole golf course, short game practice area, driving range, award-winning Golf Shop, elegant and private meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center and adult and children's swimming pools.

The Club's 18-hole park style golf course challenges amateurs and professionals alike. It has served as the host to the U.S. Women's Open and the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in 1957 and 1976 and was the 30-year home for the at Cancer Celebrity Pro-Am. Early exhibitions featured Sir Cotton, Tommy Armour and Lloyd Mangrum. Later, Hall of Fame Champions who participated in the Swing included Kathy Whitworth, Sam Snead, Billy Casper, Gene Litler, Hale Irwin, Johnny Miller, Tom Watson and many others.

In July 2006, Del Paso completed an $10 million 18-month golf course redesign and renovation using the innovative plans of world-renowned golf course architect Kyle Phillips. The golf course now features five sets of tees offering a challenge to players of all levels.

Located ten miles northeast of downtown Sacramento, Del Paso Members enjoy year-round golf, pleasant weather and an average of 293 sunny days each year.
